Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hamblin and daughter, Lara, of Greenville, N. C., left Friday for home after a visit with Mr. Hamblin’s mother, Mrs. Flora.Rhudy.

Mrs. Shirley M. Shelton sustained a large cut on the calf of her leg Friday evening when she fell in her home and droDDed a box of glass jars of relish. A good Samaritan neighbor rushed her to the emergency room of Warren Memorial Hospital for treatment and she is now reported making satisfactory recovery.

Mrs. Edward Goranson and her grandson, Michael Ray Williams, accompanied Mr. Goranson to Herndon and Arlington Friday on business.

A report on the sick of our community shows that Mrs. Sara Mulcahy, Mrs. Dean Holdaway, Mrs. Lelia Leake, and Mrs. Julia Pullen entered Warren Memorial Hospital last week and Sam North returned home from the same hospital Friday evening. □
