Voter registration
An article in next week’s News will give detailed information on a voter registration effort being organized by the Rappahannock Retired Teachers Association. Special transportation is being arranged to take persons to the registrar’s office in the court house in Washington. The registration drive will concentrate on the mornings of August 19 and 26, between the hours of 9 a.m. and noon.D
