trip. Visitors may also hike independently to Camp Hoover on any of several trails. No food or beverages will be available at the Camp and the last bus from the Camp to Big Meadows will return at 5 p.m.
The Camp has served, since 1961, in accordance with President Hoover’s wishes, as a retreat for members of the President’s staff, his cabinet members and their assistants, and for members of Congress. This will be the third year for public viewing and inspection. Park personnel will be present on site to answer questions, and visitors will be invited to explore the buildings and grounds.□
