CORN and soybean prices in the Southeast mostly declined during the week ended July 30. Soy-beans ranged 1-1/4 to 22-1/2 cents lower, mostly 10 to 15 cents lower. The cash spread was $5.96 to $6.28. Corn closed mixed with prices ranging 2-3/4 cents lower to 6 cents higher, mostly 2 cents lower to 1 cent higher. The cash spread was $2.69 to $3.11-1/2.

Cattle continued to trend lower since the second week in June. Barrows and gilts closed $1.50 lower than the previous week. Cotton prices also continued to decline during the week.

GRAIN—During the period ending July 29, corn and soybean prices were mostly lower. Soybean prices ranged 1-1/4 to 221/2 cents lower, mostly 10 to 15 cents lower. The cash spread was $5.96 to $6.28.
