RESOLUTION WHEREAS: The Rappahannock County Chapter of the American Cancer Society has been a force for good in the County for many years, and . WHEREAS: The Society’s program for the year 1977 includes a free skin and oral cancer examination clinic for all County citizens, and WHEREAS: The local Chapter has requested the Board, in order to encourage all citizens of the County to take advantage of the free examination, to proclaim April as Cancer Month, coinciding with the opening of the American Cancer Society’s 1977 Crusade, NOW THEREFORE That the Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock BE IT RESOLVED: County, in conclave assembled, hereby proclaims April, 1977 as Cancer Month, and urges all citizens of the County to visit the free skin and oral cancer clinic.
