Reuben S. Aylor, 80, of Sperryville died in Washington, D.C. on April 9, 1977. He was a native of Rappahannock and a life-long resident. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, Sperryville.

Survivors include three sons, George W. Aylor of Sperryville, Richard Aylor, Washington, D. C. and Lewis E. Aylor of Falls Church; two daughters, Mrs. Mary E. Frye, Sperryville and Mrs. Ethel Parrish of Arlington; two sisters, Mrs. Texanna Diggs of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Mrs. Virginia Jones of Richmond; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held today, Thursday, at 1 p.m. at the Hopewell Baptist Church in Sperryville conducted by the Rev. U. S. Brokenburr. Interment will be in the family section of the church cemetery. □
