The Supervisors voted unanimously to follow Luke’s suggestion and transfer the Revenue Sharing funds to the new account. “Now we * ve sort of got our money in the pot. What do we do next?” Luke asked.

DAVIS suggested that Falkner’s drawings be put on public display and they were subsequently arranged to the side of the judge’s bench in the court room.

“The next step would be for you to decide what scheme you want,” Falkner told the Board. Then a new contract would be drawn up and Falkner said he would proceed with the final drawings.

“The county appears to have gotten more than their money’s worth” with the scope of the preliminary plans, commented Davis.

“It’s an excellent job,” agreed Luke, “Thank you for tile extra work on behalf of the county.”

Davis added that Falkner’s efforts showed a “very in-depth understanding of what the public will appreciate and want.”
