Dance a thon
A 24-hour dance-a-thon benefitting the March of Dimes will be held April 22-23 from 9 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Sperryville fire hall. Contestants who wish to participate must contact either of the following ladies in Culpeper: Mrs. Myra Williams, 1322 Lightfoot Ave., 825-1208 or Mrs. Maude Williams, Rt. 1, Box 323, 825-5795 by April 20.
The registration fee is $1.50 in advance or $2 at the door. Contestants should be there by 8:30.
A $25 prize will be given the winner, plus other gifts. Consolation prizes are offered and door prizes will be given.
The public is invited and foodand drinks will be available. The dance-a-thon is sponsored by the Angelic Chorus of Hopewell Baptist Church, Sperryville.
