In an effort to further “cement the bonds of international friendship," the Youth for Understanding Host Family Program is seeking local families willing to adopt temporarily two foreign exchange high school students for the next six months.
Scheduled to arrive in this country this month are Patricia Rohr, 18, from Uruguay and Moacir Andrade, 15, from Brazil, but so far no home has been found for them.
Patricia, who would like to locate in a small town, plays guitar and her favorite sports are lawn hockey, tennis and horseback riding.
Moacir, the son of a famous painter, is following in his father’s footsteps. He also likes swimming and has won several medals in judo competition.
