Afterwards, joined by Miss Chris Kyle and Mr. and Mrs. Clay Walker of Shepardstown, W. Va., they all attended a New Year’s Eve party at the Continental Dance Club, a studio owned by Mr. Weaver’s son, John, in Washington, D. C.
Last Wednesday, luncheon guests of Mrs. Guy Burke were Mr. and Mrs. Trenton Burke of Culpeper, David Burke and daughter, Chrissy, of Mississippi, and Mrs. Hilda Burke. On Saturday, Mrs. Guy Burke joined a birthday dinner for Mrs. Trenton Burke. Other guests were Trenton Burke, David Burke and Chrissy, and Richie Burke of Culpeper. Miss Minnie Smith of Delaplane spent the New Year’s holiday week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lee Smith.
Weekend guests of Mrs. Gabe Burke included Mr. and Mrs. Moses» Burke and two daughters of Maryland and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Alther, Roy, Jr. and Missy of Sperryville.
Mrs. W. C. Campbell returned to her home on Thursday after spending Christmas with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Paulson, in Newport News.
