Persons who like to collect printed matter that contains errors should be saving recent issues of The Rappahannock News.
Each week there appears in the left side of the masthead the volumn and number of that issue. The first edition of The Rappahannock News (Vol. 1, No. 1) was issued on Nov. 3, 1949 and subsequent issues have been numbered accordingly.
However, a mistake inadvertently was made in December when the weekly editions were numbered. Theoretically, the edition of the second week in November should have been marked as 29th YEAR (rather than 29th volumn), No. 1, but it wasn’t.
The error in numbering was discovered last week, and in an effort to correct matters, that edition was
