The JV Basketball team came up with a win against Montevideo about two weeks ago. Tuesday night they came out on the short end against Stonewall who has been undefeated.
1978 is going to be a great year for the Varsity players. They got their first victory Tuesday night over Stonewall in a close, close contest with a final score of 69-67.
It was a hard fought game all the way with the score zigzagging back and forth with first one team ahead then the other. It was a well earned and most desired victory.
Big scorer was Brooke Miller, swishing in 15 points, followed by Donnie Compton
