Mrs. Carlton Dulaney of Luray was a Wednesday overnight guest of her nephew and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley. Calling on Mr. and Mrs. Weakley Thursday were Mr. and Mrs. Forest McCarty of Stephens City. Mr. and Mrs. Weakley and their houseguest, Mrs. Margaret Carroll of Arlington, spent the New Year’s holiday weekend in Woodbridge, the houseguests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dwyer. They returned to their home Sunday evening after taking Mrs. Carroll to her home in Arlington.
Dr. and Mrs. Gordon Lindenblad, Eric and Ambler Lindenblad left Monday for their home in Chesterfield, Mo., after a short visit with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Miller.
Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Baines, Bobby and Lee spent from Thursday through Saturday in Suffolk where they visited Mrs. Allie Baker and R. A. Baines, Sr., and their families.
Spending the New Year’s weekend with Mrs. Corrie Cornell were Misses Sandra Jean Stenglein and Lucy Izzo of Rochester, N. Y. Mrs. L. J. Turner returned home recently after spending the Christmas holidays with Mr. and Mrs. William S. Dewhirst and family in Richmond. Mrs. Turner and the Dewhirst family were dinner guests of Dr. and Mrs. John Timer in Warrenton on Tuesday of last week. Mrs. Turner returned to Warrenton on Monday to visit Miss Mary Turner before her return to Charlotte, N. C.
