Paul R. Brown, 85, of Amissville died at 8:30 p.m. Friday in Fauquier Hospital as a result of injuries he received in a multi-vehicle accidefit at 11:45 a.m. at the Intersection of Rt. 29-211 and Alexandria Pike at the north end of Warren ton.
Brown, who was driving west on Alexandria Pike in a 1972 Dodge pickup, apparently became confused when he approached the intersection, according to a report Bled by officer James Brady of the Warrenton Police Department.
He accidentally turned south into the northbound lane, into the path of an oncoming 1965 White tractor trailer driven by William Thompson, 28, of Wilmington, Del. and a 1972 Ford pickup driven by Junior Rose, 29, of Minute
