Brothers Roger and Stephen Barnes of Vienna, were injured in a midnight single car traffic crash on Route 211 east of Massies Corner Saturday. Roger remains a patient in Fairfax hospital in critical condition with massive head injuries. Both victims were thrown from the car, a 1966 convertible, according to Trooper H.A. Newlin.
Roger Barnes was the operator of. the convertible whieh ran off the highway, went out of control, hit an embankment and rolled over several times, said the officer. Roger sustained massive head injuries while Stephen received a shoulder injury and lacerations of the face and head.
