Landowners whose property adjoins tracts involved in the proposed Park land swap turned out for the public meeting Tuesday night on the Shenandoah Park general management plan. But Park officials brushed aside questions regarding the land trade and refused to allow public discussion of the issue. Park Assistant Superintendent Bill Loffis did go so far as to announce that the swap of Rappahannock Park land for privately owned property in Greene County was not final yet and offered to send copies of the environmental assessment on the proposed trade to interested individuals.
