Friday students heard an address by Dr. Donatienne von Ludwig, a native of France and mother of four Wakefield students. Dr. von Ludwig related some of her experiences of growing up in France and attending school there.
The highlight of the festival was a specially prepared French meal served to all students Friday afternoon.
Revival At
Gid Brown
Gid Brown Baptist Church will be conducting a revival from May 31 through June 9 at 7:30 p.m. with evangelist Don McCann of Kingsport, Tenn., speaking each night. There is special singing planned for each evening and the Victory Trio will be present for Homecoming on Sunday, June 4. All are invited to attend these services.
