They’ll argue that it will make housing more expensive and they’re absolutely right.” But, argued Marshall, to go the other way will raise the cost of food production.
Many argue that agricultural land is not needed here since crops and cattle can be brought in from the midwest, Marshall noted. “We've been going in that direction for years but soon it may not be reasonable to have all our food produced 1.500 miles away,” he concluded.

William D. Campbell of Harris Hollow received a bachelor of science degree in May from Tulane University. The degree was conferred by Dr. Sheldon Hackney, president of Tulane University, during the annual spring commencement exercises held on the New Orleans campus.
