Miss Robbie Leibold of Amissville was awarded a degree in business administration last week from Radford College, Radford. She was a 1974 graduate of Rappahannock County High School. She is the daughter jf Mr. and Mrs. Robert Leibold.

Picnic Sunday
Members of the Rappahannock Women's Club are reminded that their annual picnic is scheduled for Sunday, July 16, at 3 p.m. at the home of Beth DeBergh in Washington. Also, those members who haven’t turned in their five recipes are asked to bring them at this time.
Cake Walk
At Skyland
The bugle is sounding inviting everyone to attend the George Freeman Pollock Day Cake Walk Thursday, July 20, at Skyland Conference Hall, Shenandoah National Park. The Cake Walk is sponsored by the Shenandoah National Park Woman’s Gub.
The 6:30 p.m. event will honor Mr. Pollock who founded the resort of Skyland and who was instrumental in the establishment of Shenandoah National Park. There will be both cake walks, cupcake walks and a marshmellow roast for the children, and the woman’s club will sell coffee, lemonade, and cupcakes during the evening. Make i plans to attend this “always a I lot of fun" event.
