small grains on the 818 acres of land owned and the additional 684 acres rented. Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises, Inc. is a 100 percent community-owned marketing facility. It has a 2,000-head penning capacity located on 87 acres of land. It is the site of the Culpeper^ Feeder Calf and Madisonfy Yearling Association sales and is used by most of the purebred beef organizations for special shows and sales. Zeuswyn Farm is a 1,000 acre purebred Angus operation consisting of 650 head of registered Angus cattle. Each year production sales are held on the farm where cows with calves, heifers, and bulls are offered for sale.
Bel Pre Farm is a Grade A dairy operation. The herd of 130 milk cows average 16,000 pounds of milk and 580 pounds of fat. The farm involves 650 acres of land with 250 acres of corn; 35-40 acres of timothy and 50 acres in small grain.
Quail Haven, a commercial beef cow-calf operation, has a herd of 525 brood cows. The herd is grazed on fescue pasture all year with very little grain fed. Annually about 420 head of yearlings are fed corn silage and sold to feed lots in Pennsylvania and Iowa.
