July 4, the Sperryville Rescue Squad took Bill Swindler from his home in Sperryville to Warren Memorial Hospital. Jane Cheeves of Florida was taken from Lester Deal’s shop in Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial Hospital on July 5 by this unit. July 6. they carried Joe Deal from Mt. Vernon Stock Farm in Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial Hospital and on July 7, James Riley was transported to Warren Memorial Hospital from his home in Gid Brown Hollow. On Tuesday, July 11, the unit brought Ned Johnson home from Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Amissville Rescue Squad took Walter Fitzhugh from home to Fauquier Hospital on July 6. This unit responded to a wreck on Rt. 640 and took Virginia Wolf to Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
