THE DeHAVILLAND TIGER MOTH piano crashed fast Thursday as the pilot Roger McBride of Esmont attempted to take off from the air strip of James W. Fletcher in the F. T. Valley. McBride was not injured and damage to the plane was estimated at a thousand dollars according to a report of the Virginia State Police. The air strip is located on Route 231 four miles from Sperry ville.
