Swindler
Graveside services for William Estes Swindler, 46, of Sperryville were conducted Tuesday morning at the Sperryville Cemetery by the Rev. Vickie Pittard.
Mr. Swindler died Saturday, July 8, 1978, in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal, following a long illness.
Son of Mrs. Addison Lee Swindler and the late Mr. Swindler of Sperryville, he was a lifelong resident of Rappahannock County and a member of the Sperryville United Methodist Church.
Surviving along with his mother are two brothers, Addison Lee Swindler Jr. of Hanover, Pa. and James E. Swindler of Sperryville.
Pallbearers were Buddy Deavers, Nelson Nethers, John Eubank, Harry Trescott, Jimmy Wayland, J. E. Swindler, Bob Lewis and Michael Lee Swindler.
