Mrs. Maury W. Brown of Sperryville has returned to her home after spending some time in Bridgeport, Texas with her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Brown Jr. Mrs. Brown left Byrd Airport, Richmond on June 26, accompanied by two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Shirey and Mrs. Jean Konek, Bitsy Jones, John Konek and Allen Michaels. They were joined by other members of the family for a reunion in Bridgeport.
The group visited in Austin, Newark, Fort Worth, and toured the LBJ ranch and gravesite of former president Lyndon B. Johnson. Other acitvities included a shopping trip into Mexico, a visit with Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Fairbetter in Boyd, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Kendrick in San Antonio.
Other family members joining them were Susan DeShazo Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Brown and Amy Lorraine. Mr. and Mrs.
