Some May Pay
More For Stamps
United States Department of Agriculture regulations mandate that some persons who receive increases in Railroad Retirement Social Security, Supplemental Security Income and Aid to Dependent Children benefits, as of July 1 may have to pay more for their food stamps.
As a result, increases in these monthly income benefits might result in higher amounts some people pay for their food stamps or, in some instances, total ineligibility.
