In the 1976 report, the Committee noted that "Rappahannock offers only the minimum number of academic units (26) required by the state " This applies today for the 1978-79 year also. In addition, the high school offers the minimum number of electives mandated by the state.
According to the '76 report. "it was often necessary for a teacher to pack up his-her materials and change rooms as many as 4 or 5 times a day. This is necessary so that classes with large enrollments may be scheduled in the larger rooms." The same situation still exists in the 1978-79
