Members of the Rappahannock Health Department were honored with luncheon at the Teepee in Sperryville by Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller of Flint Hill. Mrs. Frances Thornton and Mrs. Mary Quaintance of Sperryville, Mrs. C. E. Giles Jr., Jack Lockhart and Dr. LeGarde.
Mrs. Nick Penaranda was an all-day Saturday visitor of her father, Stant Weaver. Other Saturday callers were Mrs. Leo Wood of Reva and her houseguest, Mrs. Cathy Wayland of California. Leo Wood was Mr. Weaver's guest Monday evening.
Guests of Mrs. Gabe Burke during the weekend were Ranny Burke and son. Greg, and Mr. and Mrs. Davis Burke and two daughters, all of Manassas, and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Alther, Missy and Roy Jr. of Sperryville.
Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley spent last week camping in various parks in western Virginia. Monday evening, they were in Holiday Lake State Park in Appomattox. From there, they travelled to Clarksville, where they camped Tuesday night in Occoneechee State Park. Wednesday evening, they stayed in Fairy Stone State Park. Stuart, and Thursday evening, they were at Peaks of Otter. From Friday through Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Weskley camped at Reynovia Lake near Charlottesville.
Mrs. A. M. Verner and Mrs. Mary Updike spent Monday in Charlottesville.
