Bomberger remarked that the previous assessment on space needs had been done several years ago. Noting that the School Board had indicated interest in expanding the math program offered at the high school. Bomberger contended that this would be hard to accomplish without additional class space.

He reported that a high school teacher who had previously served on state acreditation committees predicted that the high school cafeteria and library would not meet criteria on size for the number of pupils served. "Every year, the library loses a room." he said, explaining that this year, the new part-time guidance counselor had been given office space in the library.

"The only way that the School Board can find out what the problems are is to talk to the teachers and the principals.” he maintained.
