Although the Ski Corporation dropped its initial suit, the Supervisors are still faced with a legal battle as 1978 winds to a close—this time with the Rappahannock Chapter of the Izaak Walton League which filed suit in November seeking repeal of the ordinance amendments. In addition, the Ski Corporation petitioned for right to intervene in the Izaak Walton League suit, requesting that the court recognize the Corporation’s vested interest in rights conferred by the September amendments.
