The marriage of Miss Sheri Settle to Terry Breeden took place at seven o’clock Saturday, December 2, 1978 at the Amissville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ray Crockett performed the double ring ceremony in a setting of candlelabra and white and red mums. The bride is the- daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse J. Settle and the parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Morris E. Breeden, all of Amissville.
Miss Wanda Heflin was organist, presenting a program of traditional wedding music. Soloist were Carroll Dennis, brother-inlaw of the bride and Mrs. Luella Clem. All are of Amissville.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of Chantilly lace with an underlay of nylon. The full skirt of cascading scalloped lace ruffles swept to a cathedral train and the sabrina neckline was accented with pearls. She carried a white Bible topped with miniature blue and white carnations and red rosebuds.
Mrs. Vicki Dennis was matron of honor for her sister. She wore a blue velvet gown trimmed with white malibou feathers. She carried a white malibou muff and wore matching silk flowers in
