Climaxing its final quarterly meeting of 1978, the executive committee of the Virginia Council of Senior Citizens, meeting in Richmond, went on record opposed to the deregulation of gasoline prices.
The committee urged a rollback of those price increases already sneaking up on us.
The council also supported the move of Congressmen John E. Moss, CA., Andrews Maguire, NJ. and Toby Moffett, Conn, to have the Federal Trade Commission investigate the allegations of antitrust violations by the Shell Oil Co. in the matter of wholesale gas prices.
