Given in marriage by her stepfather, Richard Hitt, the bride wore a polyester gown with flounced hemline that was attached to the center back giving a ruffled effect. The dress was trimmed in chantilly lace with an attached chapel train.

Rick Kelly served as best man for his brother and Kenny Pullen and Mort Bragg were ushers.
Mrs. Charles Clem sang "That's the Way” with Mrs. Douglas Silvey accompanying her at the organ.
A reception was given by the bride’s parents in the fellowship hall following the ceremony.
