The Essay Contest also is divided into two groups, grades 7-9 and gradeslO-12. It must relate to peanuts and be no more than 1,500 words. It can be any type of writing as long as it is factually based.

Ribbons will be awarded to winners in both categories. Posters and essays must be turned in to the local 4-H office by Jan. 29, and submitted by Feb. 1 to Connie A. Sherrill, Hertford County Agricultural Extension Service, P. O. Box 188. Winton, N.C. 27986.
