This year is the International Year of Disabled Persons and troop 955 is working hard to earn the IYDP Badge. One of the requirements is to raise concern and awareness of physical barriers and to educate the public about what can be done to help disabled persons become more self-reliant within their communities.
Troop 955 meets the first three Wednesdays of each month in Scrabble and has room for a few more members. Anyone interested in joining should call Marybeth Rustic at 987-8726.
