The Rappahannock Extension Homemakers Gubs held their eighteenth annual achievement program on Monday night at the Sperryville fire hall.
Mrs. Flo Duvall of Flint Hill, county president conducted the program. Mrs. Betty Wood of Woodville, the host club, welcomed the group followed by devotionals lead by Father Gerald Gordon.
Visitors were recognized by Mrs. Sally Thornhill, president of the Woodville Club.
Reading certificates were presented to all club members who had read at least five books during the year.
The “Gub of the Year” trophy went to the Amissville Club. Presentation of the trophy is based on accomplishments during the year. Mrs. Mary Priest, the club’s president, accepted the trophy on behalf of the group.
