Ms. Cannon said that anyone who is willing to volunteer their services as a driver in case of more snow should call the hospital’s administration office (8294302). “We will be happy to take their names. The volunteers have been a tremendous help. Everybody at the hospital is gratified by the response. ”
Fauquier Hospital
Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton is also keeping a file of volunteers in case of another snow emergency. Mrs. Ferrence, in the hospital’s administrative offices, said that anyone willing to volunteer should call 349-0531. The hospital will call “one to two hours” before the volunteer’s services are needed.
Mrs. Ferrence added that the hospital’s staff deeply appreciates the response from volunteers in the community to last weekend’s transportation difficulties.
