Custom feeding field day

A Field Day focusing on the progress of the custom feeding project will be held Saturday, Jan. 31, at Horseshoe Farm, Rapidan, from 1 to 3 p.m. The cattle are on feed in a counter-slope barn. The ration is mostly corn. Discussion of the health program, the facility, the rations and the objectives of this trial are planned. Middle Street Gallery will hold its second annual Valentine’s show, this year entitled “Art from the Heart," with an opening reception from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7. This marks the first anniversary of Middle Street Gallery functioning as an artist’s cooperative.

Fun filled trip to Florida

Aerobic dance to begin

Progressive dinner weekend

The Bed and Breakfast Guild of Rappahannock County has declared war on the winter doldrums. The Guild is sponsoring a series of progressive dinner weekends. The package includes dessert on arrival Friday night, breakfast Saturday morning and a progressive dinner from 4-10 p.m. Saturday. The dinner begins at Caledonia Farm with a social hour and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a soup course at Heritage House in Washington.
