A native of Pennsylvania, Mrs. Vogel had lived in Rappahannock County for 24 years.
She is survived by her husband Paul F. Vogel of Woodville, two sons, Paul C. Vogel of Woodville and Richard H. Vogel of Broad Run, a daughter Thelma M. Bravo of San Antonio, Texas, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A funeral service was conducted Jan. 26 at Clore Funeral Home, Culpeper, by the Rev. John Burke. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery.
Alice Nichols
Alice Bertha Nichols, 93, of Sperryville, died Saturday, Jan. 24, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
Mrs. Nichols was a native of Rappahannock County and a member of Piedmont Baptist Church.
She is survived by seven daughters, Helen Leake and Daisy Cox, both of Culpeper, Ann Collins of Norfolk, Betty Rice of Richmond, Alice Kozdd of Rosedale, Md., Rebecca DeGalia of Fairfax and Janet Thomas of Galesville, Md., three sons, Walker Nichols of Culpeper, W. Maury Nichols of Fairfax and Robert Nichols of Front Royal, 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
