Dr. Rish said that his plan would require irrigation of the fairways and greens from Fox Creek, which flows through the property. He told the planners that 75,000 gallons of water per day would be needed to irrigate the golf course, and that by diverting 40 percent of the water in the creek into holding ponds he would be able to take care of the water needed for irrigation.
