“My hope is that the Rappahannock County Democratic Committee can, in some small way, at the ‘grass roots’ level, contribute to our party’s vision for the future of our county, state and nation,” Mr. Baumgardner concluded.

In addition to its officers, the Democratic caucus elected 35 new members to the county committee. By precinct, they are as follows:

Hampton District: Ethel Bailey, Douglas Baumgardner, William Buntin, Mary Jane Cappello, Helen Fairfax.

Piedmont District: Carson Johnson, Kent Reeve, Frederick Schaefer, James Swindler, Margaret White.

Stonewall-Hawthom District: Joyce Abell, Charles Jackson, Esther Schmidt, Franklin Schmidt, James Williams.

Jackson District: Raymond Brown, Pearl Clarke, Stephanie Ridder, Catherine Treanor, Helen LaCava.

Wakefield District, Flint Hill Precinct: Eugene Cook, Kymberly Crump, Linda Dietel, Rachel Grimsley.

Wakefield District, Chester Gap Precinct: Sherman Williams.

At-large delegates: Edward Bailey, Lee Bird, Pauline Bruce, David Crump, William Dobrovir, David Gangel, Hubert Gilkey, Werner Krebser, Mary Edna Schaefer, Ernie Coats.
