Frankly, I am tired of the acrimony, bitterness, spite and ill-will that has characterized the debate of these issues. Why can’t we, as good neighbors, express honest differences of opinion without injecting personalities into our debate? I hope that, in some small way, my decision to abstain on this issue will help us to achieve this end.
Enough is enough. Let’s stop the pettiness and get on with the business of the town.
