To the editor:
I have in hand a letter from the Commonwealth Attorney and a letter from my attorney, both of which indicate that I do not have a “personal interest” in the Inn’s application for zoning approvals. In other words, I have no legal conflict of interest.
However, I am not a politician. I consider myself a public servant. If even a few of my neighbors feel uncomfortable with my voting on this issue, that, standing alone, is enough for me to step aside and abstain.
