Curtiss L. Zinn
Curtiss Luerena Zinn, 66, of Culpeper, died Feb. 25, at the Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service was held Feb. 28, at the Culpeper Presbyterian Chruch where she was a member. The Rev. Wayne Bernardo was in charge of the service.
Miss Zinn was bom July 16, 1923 at Belington, W.Va., the daughter of Curtiss C. and Hazel B. Zinn. She was a graduate of Oberlin College, Ohio and the University of Virginia. She was retired from the Culpeper County school system and had taught at the Rappahannock High School at Sperryville.
Surviving with her parents are four sisters, Helen Z. Bricker of Columbus, Ohio, Jo Anne Z. Tilley of Fairfax, Nancy Z. Nicholas and Dorothy Z. Hackley, both of Amissville; two brothers, Frank R. Zinn of Culpeper and Henry W. Zinn of Gainesville; six nieces; seven nephews; three great-nieces; and three great-nephews. A brother, Paul C. Zinn preceded her in death in 1963.
