Build a
bird house
With continued development of Fauquier County, birds are losing their dwellings. A “Homes for Birds” workshop will be presented by Crockett Park staff on Saturday, March 13, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the Marshall Community Center, partly to address this problem.
Bring your own hammer and $3 to cover the cost of a pre-cut bird house kit. Participants will learn how to build bird houses to attract particular species, and tips on the placement of bird houses will be given.
