lottesville. Two others were transported to Page Memorial Hospital in Luray, he said.

He did not have information on the names of any of the people involved, and he did not know the nature or extent of the injuries.

Mike Sinneway was returning home to Warrenton after a hike in the park when he came upon the accident Sunday.

He said he had heard that both cars had airbags which deployed. He also reported that he waited more than one and a half hours for the people to be removed from the cars. He said he was surprised that the park service did not have the tool needed to cut into the cars and that getting such a tool took so long. He left before the crash truck arrived.

Mr. Sinneway also reported that the accident backed up cars along the Skyline Drive causing quite a traffic jam.
