Manassas Park had brought a rap bus full of fans hoping their team wotdd get the victory and the tournament berth, and those fans added smiificantly to the din in the gymnasium as the fourth quarter got underway.
Manassas Park began narrowing the score, but with the score 46 to 39 the first Manassas Park player fouled out. After the score continued to narrow and stood at 47 to 42 with more than a minute left, Rappahannock coach Gary Leake called a time out. Critical foul shots by Andre Fletcher got the Panthers a 49 to 42 lead, but Manassas Park scored again to make the score 49 to 44, and a second Manassas Park player fouled out.
