At its meeting last week, the town of Washington’s Architectural Review Board approved revised plans for the residence of Mrs. Edward Parrish on Blue Ridge Avenue.
Jon Monroe, architect for the project, was given approval by ARB members Donna Kevis, Patrick O’Connell, Dwight Matthews and Steve Critzer. Mr. Monroe was given permission to use stucco, and can choose whatever type he likes, either acrylic or real stucco. The acrylic stucco is very thin, and the real stucco is about an inch thick.
