Memorial services will be conducted on Thursday, at the Southfield Baptist Church by Pastor Melvin Willis.

Burial will be in Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.

Mr. Clifford was a former deacon of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill, where he served many years in the choir and Sunday school. He was a member of the Southfield Baptist Church in Flint Hill, where he was a member of the Deacon Board and a Sunday School teacher.

Surviving are his wife, Anna Bell Clifford; a son, Jim "Bridget” Clifford of Columbus, Ohio; two daughters, Phyllis “Arthur” Grandison of Columbus, and Wanda Clifford of Maryland; two brothers, Robert Clifford of Washington and Wilmer “Esther" Clifford of Loraine, Ohio; four sisters, Clara Bruce, Virginia “Henry” Bruce and Beulah Bruce all of West Virginia, and Mary “Harry” Mills of Pennsylvania; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by the Wayne T. Lee Funeral Service.
