Everyone in Rappahannock County who has a county sticker on their car or truck has an example of Mr. Wagner’s artwork. He designed the seal for the county about two years ago. A contest was held, and Mr. Wagner’s image was chosen. It was originally in black and white, and color was added at a later date.
T-shirts with the county seal on them are for sale at Hackley’s Store in Amissville. Proceeds from the sale of the shirts benefit the Rappahannock Athletic Association. f
Since 1964, Mr. Wagner has produced a new Christmas card design every year. In the beginning, he would just make a few, since each was an original. After a while, he decided to make one original and have it printed, so he could send cards to several friends, besides his family.
