It’s a Saturday morning in February. As you languidly stretch and open your \ eyes, bright light meets your reluctantly rising lids. Yet, the sky, from your horizontal position, is a solid blanket of gray. Puzzled, you arise to find a white covering of snow reaching the horizons bright as to illumine the entire room as would the noonday sun. A perfect bright, snowy Saturdays reflection of the icy weather, no less. Can you imagine a light more perfect than this? In Psalm 50:2, we read~“the perfection of beauty, Gad shines forth.” Even through doudly circumstances, God’s brightness abounds, disguising the chill. God is with you always...in dark times as well as joyous ones. This Sabbath, may we remember the words of the Psalmist David, as he praises our Heavenly Father, ‘’...even the darkness is not dark to Thee, the night is bright as the day; for darkness is as light with Thee” (Psalm 139:12).
